My name is Milena Nikolova. I am a Psychology graduate specialising in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. I have 7 years of post-qualified experience in CBT and over ten years of experience working therapeutically in the National Healthcare Service. I recently qualified to provide Dialectical Behavioural Therapy informed treatment for clients with severe and enduring mental health difficulty.
My therapeutic style is approachable and professional. I believe that it is important to understand my client's point of view and validate their difficulties. I am flexible at adapting my style to the client's needs. My personality is reflective and open-minded, even in the face of highly emotive situations. I am naturally motivated in supporting and caring for my clients.
